Our U18A Buzziol Hurricanes headed to the Hamilton-Wentworth area for the Flamborough Falcons Winter Chill Tournament this past January 12-14th weekend.
Our Hurricanes fought hard during the round robin, pushing through to face the Burlington Barracudas in the semi finals. In a resilient showing by all the girls, our U18A Buzziol team hooked the ‘Cudas for a 2-0 win, solidifying their spot in the finals. Moving into the Championship game, the girls harnessed a strong Hurricanes force, ending regulation play in a 2-2 tie with the Flamborough Falcons. Unfortunately the team fell just short of the win, with the Falcons swooping in for a final score of 3-2 in overtime, securing our Mississauga Hurricanes the SILVER Medal!
