RETURN TO HOCKEY DAY SCHEDULE & NOTES
House League’s Canadian Tire Return to Hockey Day kicks off on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Find the division schedule following and make note of the time each age group is on the ice. Please arrive early so that athletes can check in and get changed for their sessions.
All evaluation skates will be held at Rink #2, Iceland Arena (705 Matheson Blvd E, Mississauga, ON L4Z 3X9).

HEALTH RESTRICTIONS
As we get back to the arena there are a few points to keep in mind regarding current health restrictions:
- The dressing room policy is back to normal, and dressing rooms will be available for use during the Return to Hockey Day.
- Masks are no longer mandatory in the arena or in the dressing rooms/benches, but feel free to wear one! The MGHL is a mask friendly environment.
- Even though people are not required to isolate anymore, we are asking people to still stay home if they are not feeling well.
SEASON PREPARATION
Before the Return to Hockey Day, please remember the following:
- Get your daughter’s skates sharpened.
- Tape their stick.
- Make sure all of the gear is in their bag. We can't let you on the ice if you are missing equipment.
- Check your daughter’s hockey equipment and make sure it's in good playing condition (no expired protective gear).
EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE
The MGHL will be hosting an Equipment Exchange during our Return to Hockey Day. This will be located at Iceland Arena on the second floor in the room next to the MGHL Clubhouse from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Both new and gently used equipment will be available, for example: skates, gloves, protective gear, helmets, bags and more! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
As always, the MGHL is in need of Convenors, Coaches and Volunteers at almost all divisional levels. If you are looking to volunteer your time at the rink this season and help out your daughter’s team, please contact us at [email protected] and we can get you started.
