Notice of MGHL Virtual Annual Meeting

The MGHL’s Annual Meeting (AM) will be held virtually on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 7:00 PM ET.

As we prepare for the upcoming AM, please note the following details:

EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS

All MGHL Executive Board positions are open for nomination and election. Pursuant to Article 5 of the MGHL Bylaws, any members who would like to be considered for nomination / election are to send an “Intent to Run” notice via email to [email protected] or written letter to the Secretary 48 hours before the start of the AM.

The deadline for submitting a notice of Intent to Run is Saturday, May 24 at 6:59 PM ET.

Interested persons should attend the virtual AM on Monday, May 26 at 7:00 PM when the election of the new Board will take place.

The following MGHL members intend to run for the listed Board positions (nominees may be updated until Saturday, May 24 at 6:59 PM ET):

BYLAW AMENDMENTS

At the upcoming AM, the Members of the MGHL community will be asked to vote on the updated Bylaws for the League. The Bylaws required amendment in order to comply with Ontario's Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA). The Bylaws may be reviewed using the link below. The continuing practice of the Executive Board being voted by the Members on an annual basis is maintained. If there are any questions, these may be submitted in advance of the AM by email to the Secretary at [email protected].

AM VOTING

All current MGHL members in good standing are welcome to attend and vote for nominated members.

Each MGHL member is entitled to cast 1 (one) vote for each position on the Executive and any proposed amendments to the Bylaws, regardless of the number of positions held within the MGHL.
