We were proud to have
McWane Canada sponsor pink shirts for our girls during
Pink Shirt Week of Kindness.
This national movement began in Canada back in 2007, when two students stood up for a peer who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Their act of kindness sparked a powerful, ongoing campaign that encourages inclusion, respect, and standing up against all forms of bullying.
Sport isn’t just about goals, passes, or wins, it’s about building character, creating safe and welcoming spaces, and teaching our athletes to support one another on and off the ice. When young athletes learn kindness, empathy, and respect through sport, they carry those values into their teams, schools, and communities. That’s why initiatives like Pink Shirt Day matter so much in youth athletics.
Kindness matters. Thanks again to McWane Canada for helping us share that message and foster a culture where everyone feels valued and supported.
