Last weekend, our girls didn’t just watch hockey. They felt it.They walked into the TMU Bold vs UofT Varsity Blues rivalry. Two teams. One rink. Heart, grit, and belief on full display.
Our Hurricanes played a mini game at first intermission. Big smiles, fast legs, brave plays. Then in the second intermission, they met the players, got autographs, and saw what “one day” can really look like.
But the biggest lesson came at the end.
TMU was down. Only 14 seconds left. They tied it. Then they won in a shootout.
The girls went wild. Cheering. Jumping. Believing.
Lesson learned. Never give up. Not when you’re tired. Not when you’re losing. Not when the clock is almost done.
Thank you to @tmubold for giving our girls this moment, and for helping grow the girls’ game. This is how dreams start. This is how confidence grows. This is how little Hurricanes become future leaders, on the ice and in life.
