U18A (SUMMERS) WINS GOLD AT AMERICAN CUP
Our U18A Summers team continued their dominant
performance this season with another Gold Medal performance at the America Cup
in Lake Placid, NY last weekend.
With grit, determination, and tenacity the girls
have won three golds and one silver in tournaments this season. They've faced
competition from all over Ontario and the States and come out on top many
times. Lake Placid was another tournament where the goalies were unbeatable,
holding the opposing teams to only 1 goal against for the whole tournament and
picking up a win in the goalie skills competition. The team was unstoppable
with 14 goals scored in four games and a second place finish in the player skills
competition. It has been their consistency in play, faith in one another and
their coaches, and their resilience that allows these great results.
