This is an opportunity to celebrate the commitment, hard work, and drive of our competitive athletes as we wind down the current hockey season. Get dressed up, and ready for food, photo booths, music and fun!

ATHLETE DROP OFF & TEAM OFFICIALS
As we have a large Rep program, and there are venue capacity limitations, athletes can be dropped off at the venue. Parents should not expect to stay; however, there will be a minimum of ONE adult team official present for each Rep team (two adults for our U9 teams.) Click Here to Download the Drop Off Map.
TIMELINE OF EVENTS
6:30 - 7:00 PM: Arrival & Pizza Appetizers
7:00 - 7:30 PM: Buffet of Chicken, Pasta, Vegetables, Buns, Fruits, Sweets Table; (Gluten Free Options Avail.)
7:45 - 8:15 PM: Awards Ceremony
8:15 - 9:30 PM: Dancing, Karaoke & Fun
MGHL AWARDS
The highlight of our banquet will be the presentation of our MGHL Awards. The Awards will be presented to four athletes on each team that best exemplify the qualities of leadership, growth, dedication, and embodies the overall core values the MGHL seeks to instil in our Hurricanes. Our Awards are described as follows:
Leadership Award
The recipient of the Leadership Award demonstrates qualities of a successful leader on and off the ice. This player is an excellent role-model to their peers and respectful to all coaching staff and on-ice officials. The player selected demonstrates initiative to collaborate with others to promote an inclusive and positive team environment.
Commitment to Excellence Award (Most Improved / Growth)
The Commitment to Excellence Award is conferred to the player who has strived for excellence through increasing their level of impact on and off the ice this season. This player has demonstrated a high-level of work ethic and commitment to the game of hockey.
Dedication Award
The Dedication Award is presented to the player that shows relentless dedication to the sport of hockey. This player demonstrates a “whatever it takes” attitude by attending every practice and game competing with a high level of intensity. The recipient of this award demonstrates devotion to their team through exemplifying strong work ethic.
Exemplary Hurricane Award
The recipient of the Exemplary Hurricane Award demonstrates the MGHL’s core values of Focus, Opportunity, Respect, Commitment and Excellence.This player is a role model for their teammates, encompassing the vision of the MGHL to enrich the lives of girls through hockey through exemplifying strong work ethic and outstanding contributions to their team and community.
MUSIC REQUESTS
We will have a DJ at the Banquet, as well as karaoke! To make song requests, please reach out to your team's Coaches directly.
VOLUNTEERS
We would greatly appreciate some help with venue set up (4:00 - 6:30 PM), take down (9:30 - 10:30 PM), and assistance with traffic control and food stations during the event. Please let your team Coaches know if you are able to help!
