U18AA HEAD COACH: JULIE ALLEN

The Mississauga Hurricanes are pleased to announce the extension and promotion of Head Coach Julie Allen for 2026-2027. Julie has an extensive hockey background as both a player, coach and skill developer. She played NCAA Division I hockey at the University of New Hampshire. After college, she continued her playing career in the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) with the Toronto Furies winning the Clarkson Cup Championship in 2014. During the 2020-21 season, Julie was a member of the Toronto Six in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). She now owns and operates "JA Hockey". She has coached the last seven seasons at the U15AA and U22 Elite level. In this current season, Julie has led our U15AA team to a 22-0-1 record thus far including three tournament titles (North Halton Rush, Stoney Creek Showcase & Durham North American Showcase). Julie brings a wealth of experience to the EPP and the MGHL is thrilled to have her promoted to Head Coach of U18AA.
