Avery Douridas Delivers a Perfect Performance Between the Pipes

Goaltender Avery Douridas was an impenetrable force throughout the tournament, recording nothing but shutouts. But her outstanding weekend didn’t stop there. Avery showcased her exceptional talent in the Tournament Goalie Shootout Competition for the U19A division, where she faced off against some of the top goaltenders and shooters.

In the opening round, Avery stood tall, stopping all three breakaways against her to advance to the final round. In the championship showdown, her competitor managed two saves; however, Avery's athleticism and quick reflexes proved unbeatable. Her goaltending was flawless, turning aside every single attempt, including a highlight-reel final stop against a skillful shooter. With her perfect performance, she became the only goalie in the entire competition not to be scored on, both in the shootout competition and during tournament play. Avery's outstanding performance is a testament to her dedication and talent; a well-earned victory for a netminder who was simply unbeatable all weekend!
