The Mississauga Girls Hockey League (MGHL) is excited to announce the introduction of the Volunteer of the Year Award, designed to recognize the exceptional contributions of our dedicated volunteers. This year, we will be awarding two individuals—one from House League and one from Rep League—to celebrate the volunteers who have gone above and beyond to support our players, teams, and the entire MGHL community.
Our League thrives because of the dedication and passion of our volunteers who make everything run smoothly and create a positive environment for our players. This award not only acknowledges their hard work but also serves to inspire others to contribute to the success of our teams and the MGHL community.
Nomination Details:
Who Can Be Nominated?
Any MGHL volunteer who has made a significant impact during the season, including coaches, trainers, team managers, team moms, or other volunteers.
How to Nominate:
Complete the nomination form available at https://mghl.ca/VolunteerNomination.
Nomination Deadline:
All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Recognition & Celebration:
The two recipients selected by our MGHL Awards Committee will be honored at both the upcoming MGHL Annual Awards Banquet and Fundraising Gala. They will receive a commemorative plaque and a small token of appreciation, including complementary tickets to next season’s Gala, as a thank you for their dedication.
