We regret to inform you that due to an ongoing mechanical issue, Iceland Arena will be closed all day from March 2 through March 9. The facility is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but at this time, we do not have a confirmed reopening date.
UPDATE (3/6/25, 9:15 AM): Iceland Arena closure extends into March 9.
This closure impacts all activities scheduled at Iceland, including games, practices, and special events, such as year-end parties. Additionally, this closure may further result in adjustments to scheduling at other arenas as the MGHL Ice Chair works to accommodate critical end-of-season games, including playoffs and playdowns.
Some teams, beyond those with activities at Iceland, may experience scheduling changes, while others may not be affected. The Ice Chair will contact teams directly as soon as possible with any rescheduling details. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work through these adjustments and minimize disruptions where possible.
