Financial Assistance Available
We know it can be challenging to finance extracurricular sports, which is why the MGHL provides help to eligible families; please check out our Hurricane Assist Program for more details.
Additionally, the Grindstone Award Foundation is a registered charity that works to get more girls on the ice and to grow female hockey across the nation. They help girls play by providing grants of $500 for registration fees to eligible young females under the age of 19 who have a desire to play, but are unable due to financial reasons. Applications for awards are due by July 31, 2024, and can be found at GrindstoneAward.com/Apply.
We Need Volunteers
The MGHL relies on the amazing members in our community to help us provide safe, fun, and education-based hockey programming to our Hurricane’s athletes each season; please consider volunteering your time!
We are in need of Conveners at the U11 and U13 divisions, as well as Coaches and Trainers at all levels from U9 to U22. If you haven’t already reached out to let us know you may be interested, please fill in our House League Volunteer Form now! Your time and effort makes a real difference in our young player’s lives.
