Our Mississauga Hurricanes were a force to be reckoned with at the Hamilton Girls Hawkey Tournament from March 31 - April 2, 2023, making it rain GOLD for the MGHL!
U13B FERGUSON CAPTURES GOLD
Our U13B Ferguson team went 5-0-0 on the way to winning the GOLD medal during this spring’s Hamilton Hawkey Tournament. In a phenomenal final shootout, Ange F. and Angelina B. made sure to score, while goaltender Chelsea H-W. stopped both shots launched against her for the win over the Waterloo Ravens, who also came into the game undefeated. Game MVP, Amrit A., led an outstanding performance from the defensive group throughout the entire tournament, and the finals were no exception, as only two goals against were given up all weekend! The offence chipped in with timely scoring to secure the team’s second tournament Championship of the year. Parents and coaches are extremely proud of the team!

U15B CLYNE SECURES GOLD
Our U15B Clyne Hurricanes went undefeated in round robin play with a record of 3-0-1, and allowed only one goal against during this exciting tournament. Our Hurricanes finished their season with a solid effort, defeating the Hamilton Hawks in a 1-0 shutout for the GOLD medal. Parents and Coaches are extremely proud of the team!

U18A WILLETT GRABS GOLD
The U18A Willett team battled hard in the round robin games ending in the first seed overall with a record of 3-1-0. Our Hurricanes went on to secure the Championship with a convincing 5-0 win for the GOLD medal! Coaching staff and parents alike couldn’t be more proud of the players on such an excellent performance.

U18BB FIORE/BUZZIOL COLLECTS GOLD
Our U18BB Fiore/Buzziol team were second overall after round robin play, with a record of 3-1-0. Facing off against the Hamilton Hawks, who came into the finals undefeated, the crowd went wild during this exciting game! The Hawks were out of control, but our Hurricanes calmed them down and swept away with the GOLD medal, beating the Hawks 4-2!
