U18AA opens the season with two wins
The U18AA Hurricanes start the season on the winning side, with two hard-fought wins.

The Hurricanes defeated the Etobicoke Dolphins 2-1 to open the season. Goals from #94 Sienna Bullen and #8 Gracie Harvey were enough to take down the Fins. Goaltender Syd Sammut also earned her first regular season win of the season.

On October 16th, the team traveled up the QEW to take on the St. Catharines Brock Jr. Badgers. Goaltender Bella Aggio held the Badgers to just 2 on the scoresheet, while the Hurricanes cruised to a 6-2 victory. Forward Olivia Aquino netted two goals, while defence Reese Dilworth scored her first of the season. Goals also came from Victoria Lanni, Aashna Johal and Alessia Stoikos.

The Canes look to continue their hot start this weekend as they face the Ancaster Avalance on October 22nd and prepare for their home opener against the Niagara Rapids on October 23rd.
