MGHL Releases Position on AA Teams
In recent years the MGHL has fielded one AA team per age group, abiding by rules of the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL). With the absence of the LLFHL and the COVID modifications in place for the 2021-2022 season, multiple AA teams in a single age group has been permitted.

This has not impacted our position on AA teams.

“The MGHL remains steadfast in our commitment to fielding a single AA team in every age group,” said MGHL President Brad Saunders. “We are aware that another association has committed to multiple AA teams at a single age group. We will not.”
