Junior Hurricanes Announce Inaugural Pink in the Rink Game
The Junior Hurricanes will face off against the Oakville Jr. Hornets on Sunday, October 24 in their inaugural Pink the Rink game of the 2021-22 season.

The game will be held at Iceland Arena (705 Matheson Blvd E), Rink 1, and the pucks drops at 12:15 p.m.

"This is an important initiative for us," said Junior Hurricanes head coach Darcy Breakey. "Our team has been directly impacted by breast cancer. One player lost her mom two years ago, and another's mom just completed her final treatment for this disease."

"With this so near and dear to our hearts, we hope to see our extended MGHL family this Sunday as we raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation."

All funds raised at the Pink in the Rink game will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Attendees can participate in chuck-a-puck and enter to win a raffle prize. Additional donations will be accepted.
