February is Black History Month

The hockey community is better when it includes Black players, coaches and staff. This month, we encourage our MGHL community to learn more about hockey’s racial history, and the challenges that still exist for persons of colour within it.

The MGHL believes in inclusion and diversity, and in providing equal opportunities for everyone across our leagues. Throughout February, Hockey Canada will celebrate Black History Month with a series of content pieces that highlight the contributions and accomplishments of Black Canadians at every level of the game.
