The MGHL AGM was held virtually on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

This article is updated to show the results of voting for two Executive positions where elections were required. The results of the vote for the positions up for election are listed below:

After a lot of consideration and discussion, the MGHL Board has decided to postpone the AGM. The decision to postpone the AGM was not made lightly. The Board has been working with a third party to host an AGM which allows for procedures for voting and questions from the membership. Unfortunately the third party service provider is not available until December 2, 2020.
As such the new date for the AGM will be December 2, 2020. The Board feels this short delay will ensure that the AGM runs smoothly. Please register at this NEW LINK to receive the webinar details. If you have previously registered, you must register again - sorry for the inconvenience.
The Board has posted the 2019-2020 financial statements on the website for the membership’s information along with the proposed amendments. The Draft Minutes of the AGM from May 7, 2019 are available for review
at this link and will be one of the first items discussed at the December 2 AGM.

Executive Elections
All positions are open and up for election. Pursuant to Article 5 of the Constitution, any new executive members who would like to be considered for nomination/election are to send an “Intent to Run” notice via email to
[email protected] or written letter to the Secretary 48 hours before the start of the AGM. The deadline for submitting a notice of intent to run is Monday, November 30, 2020 at 6:59pm.
Interested persons should attend during the virtual AGM on Wednesday December 2, 7:00pm when the election of the new board will take place.
