Coach Kourounis Returns for 2022-23 Season!
Elite Performance Program (EPP)
EPP is pleased to welcome back U18AA Head Coach Candace Kourounis for the 2022-23 season!
Coach Candace is a former USport player of 5 years, assistant captain with the University of Windsor, and former coach within the Pittsburgh Penguins Pens Elite/Pens Selects organizations. Candace also assisted in running elite group skills sessions with both high performance players and goalies.
"I'm extremely excited and thankful for the opportunity to return to the MGHL as the U18AA Head Coach for the 2022-23 season. I look forward to continuing my collaboration with our U13AA, U15AA, and Junior programs, and continue to provide our talented athletes with the resources and opportunities to grow and develop, both as elite athletes and young adults under our Elite Performance Program."
"My time in Pittsburgh provided me with immense opportunity to understand grassroots hockey at its core. The importance of development and repetition for players of all ages and skill levels was a huge focus, and it's something that I place priority on when coaching.
