Our U15B Clyne Hurricanes won Bronze at the Cambridge Roadrunners Annual New Year's Challenge Girls’ Hockey Tournament.
The U15B Team was second in points after a 2-1-0 showing in round robin play the weekend of January 20-22, 2023. In the semi-final game against the Twin Centre Hericanes, the score after regulation and two overtime periods was 0-0. Unfortunately, the U15B Team lost the tie-breaker in a shoot-out.
Our Hurricanes remained determined, shook off the loss, and competed hard in the Bronze Medal game against the Grand River Mustangs. As fate would have it, the game, which was not short on excitement, tied 1-1 after regulation and two periods of overtime. This time our Hurricanes were victorious in the shoot-out!
The coaching staff and the parents are immensely proud of the team as they played 10 games in back-to-back tournaments.
