This past January 13 - 15th weekend, our U15B and U13HL teams competed to win silver medals in their respective tournaments!
U15B CAPTURES SILVER IN FLAMBOROUGH U15BB DIVISION
In the recent Flamborough Falcons Winter Chill Tournament, our U15B (Team Clyne) Hurricanes played up a level in the U15BB division due to a lack of U15B teams. The "Never Quit" attitude displayed by our girls resulted in a 2-1-1 record in round robin play and punched their ticket into the finals where they secured silver. Parents and coaches are extremely proud of the team!

U13HL TAKES SILVER IN ORILLIA HAWKS GIRLS TOURNAMENT
The MGHL also celebrates our U13 House League “Gold Warriors” for winning the Silver Medal at the recent Orillia Hawks Girls Tournament this past weekend! After a final round robin win (2-1-0 overall), some help from our eventual finals opponent, and a 4th tie-breaker later, the Gold Warriors were able to secure their spot in the semis. Our team rode that momentum into the semi-final game, beating the Orillia Hawks host team in a 3-2 thriller. The finals were another nail-biter against the Collingwood Lightning, who were able to overcome our Hurricanes 4-3 in a heartbreaking penalty shootout. All the parents and coaching staff could not be prouder of these young ladies as they gave it their all the entire tournament!
